GeoStru
This application performs a one-dimensional settlement analysis of an embankment founded on layered soil. The user defines geometry, loads and soil stratigraphy. The software computes vertical settlements at four reference points (Axis, External Edge, Foot and IV Point) and generates the corresponding settlement profile.
Workflow: define embankment parameters → define soil layers → click Compute → review numerical results and graphical profile → optionally export the technical report in PDF format.
Define geometry, loads and unit weights of the embankment and foundation system. These parameters determine the stress increment transmitted to the subsoil.
Define soil layers from top to bottom. For each layer specify thickness, oedometer modulus (compressibility parameter) and OCR. The program integrates settlement contributions layer by layer.

Graphical representation of the embankment geometry and calculated settlement curve. The green line represents the deformed profile based on computed vertical displacements.
Numerical settlement values computed at each control point for every soil layer. Totals represent cumulative settlements at the selected positions.
